Artwell is a visionary artist whose creativity knows no bounds. Born in Zimbabwe and now based in South Africa, he is the heart and hands behind the awe-inspiring Ten Million Bicycles from Africa project. Using reclaimed wire, wood, cloth, and traditional African textiles, Artwell handcrafts intricate miniature bicycles—each one featuring a unique rider and story.

But Artwell’s work is about more than just art. Through his initiative, he trains and mentors underprivileged, disadvantaged, and disabled youth in the art of sculpture-making. By equipping them with practical skills and creative confidence, he provides a pathway to income, independence, and hope.
