Piekant Picnic was found in 2014 by Marguerite van der Merwe.

They are a small manufacturing company specialising in outdoor and lifestyle products for the retail and corporate market.

All their products are manufactured locally in their own factory where they employ single mothers from their community as seamstresses.  Marguerite has emphasised how much she loves working with these women and helping them to provide for their families. 

A few of the items they manufacture are picnic blankets, picnic cooler bags, wine cooler bags, lunch bags, water bottle bags and camp tablecloths.

They pride themselves in the quality of their work and they ensure that every single product is double checked before leaving the factory.
