Just around the corner from Simon’s Town, Cape Town lies Boulders Beach, a sheltered cove of soft white sand, massive granite boulders and a colony of thousands of African penguins. Residing on the scenic Peninsula route to Cape Point, Ina has come to know the African penguins at Boulders in Simon’s Town, quite well. She has done a large number of paintings of these birds, having studied their way of life and antics thoroughly. She plays a supportive role in the Penguin Festival annually.
